CritiTech Announces Director of Laboratory Operations

LAWRENCE, Kan. - CritiTech announced today that it has hired Jahna Howell as its new Director of Laboratory Operations.  Howell has worked in the laboratory industry for 14 years as an analytical chemist.  She most recently worked at the Higuchi Biosciences Center at the University of Kansas in conjunction with HBC’s collaborative research effort with CritiTech.  She will devote her efforts to assisting the company in obtaining FDA approval on its Nanotax™ drug for ovarian cancer.  She earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology at Emporia State University. 
 
The company opened its laboratory in June, 2004 at the West Lawrence Labs located at 4950 Research Park Way in Lawrence, Kansas.  CritiTech provides critical drug delivery and development technology for the pharmaceutical industry through its patented nanoparticle production technology originally developed at KU.  The company also uses its proprietary technology to coat implantable medical devices such as cardiac stents.
